It is believed John's parents Martin and Elizabeth Ardrey Griffith were buried on the family farm. It is told their bodies are in a cultivated field but Martin's tombstone is lost near a small stream and Elizabeth's was against the fence row for a number of years....a cousin Pooly Griffith has had the tombstone for over 30 years and July 2010 I received the stone in my custody and am in the process of trying to get it placed at White Cloud Church and Cemetery in Memorium near her children John, and Amanda, and Grand Daughter Mary Ellen Griffith Bedsworth.
